Most discussed ad campaigns - The Hindu BusinessLine

× Talk of a cred-itable second innings. The most discussed ad in IPL 14 so far certainly has been Cred’s, which has followed up its outlandish debut act last year to unleash yet another wacky series of ads this year. Rahul Dravid’s out-of-character angry outburst during a traffic jam has spawned a spate of #IndranagarKaGunda posts, showing how well the ad is working. Cred followed it up with Jim Sarbh and JackieShroff in another weird ad written and conceptualized by by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, Puneet Chadha, Nupur Pai and Vishal Dayama and executed by DDB Mudra and 22Feet Tribal Worldwide. Of course, purists are horrified.

Moscow warns against new sanctions

Russian and US state flags fly near a factory in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Region, Russia, March 27, 2019. [Photo/Agencies] The latest array of sanctions imposed by the United States against Russia may not cause big problems on its state debt, but will definitely lead to a series of retaliatory measures, experts said. Moscow reacted angrily on Thursday after Washington announced sanctions on Russia, including curbs to its sovereign debt market, to punish it for alleged election interference and hacking and other alleged malign actions. The Kremlin said that planned US sanctions against Russia will not help a potential summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden.

Make budgeting less painful

Budgeting is a pain. But what’s more painful is a bill you can’t easily pay, debt that costs a fortune or not having enough money to retire. Fortunately, you can have a useful, working budget without watching every penny. Automation, technology and a few simple guidelines can keep you on track. The following approach works best if you have reasonably steady income that comfortably exceeds your basic expenses. If your income isn’t steady or doesn’t cover much more than the basics, you may need to track your spending more closely. Also, no budget in the world can fix a true income shortfall, where there’s not enough coming in to cover your basic bills. If that’s the case, you need more income, fewer expenses or outside help. One place to start your search for aid is 211.org, which provides links to charitable and government resources in many communities.
